Saline Wildwood “Neighborhood Walk”
Wildwood Neighbors,
As we are now in unprecedented times, we find ourselves looking for ways we can help. In the same manner, with all the children out of school many people are looking for ways to keep our children engaged and busy. Many activities and ideas of how you can help are circulating around Facebook. We have found a way to participate without needing to leave your house! Some people are starting a “Neighborhood Walk” for the neighborhood children. We are just asking people to hang something in a front window. Every 3 days the item changes according to our schedule. You can color it, cut it out, print it from your printer, or whatever you wish. Then, children (and adults too) can walk the neighborhood, respecting social distancing and other guidelines, and count how many they find!
Here is the schedule:
March 20th: Silly Faces
March 23rd: Animals
March 26th: Encouraging Words
March 29th: Flowers
April 1st: Jokes
Let’s all do our part in spreading some cheer around the neighborhood. (Thanks to those in the neighborhood that suggested this activity!)
We also encourage you to keep an eye out on your neighbors, especially those in the high risk categories. If you have their phone numbers, give them a call.
If you are a resident that needs some assistance such as picking up prescriptions or groceries, please let us know. We will try to help or find you assistance. If you are willing to assist, please let us know that as well.

Bradford Pears
Two years ago we started seeing limbs dropping off Bradford Pears in the area. This may be old news to many of you, but please keep an eye on your trees and consult an arborist if you are concerned about limbs falling on your home.
On Saturday, the third tree within a few houses of us had to be removed. A fourth is barely holding on.
Here is a map of the trees that have been removed. Any others experiencing issues?
